Nothing but music - the endless post?

This is an ever changing and (hopefully) expanding list of some of the songs I have mentioned before in this blog or simply stuff I have found somewhere on the web that I find interesting, but have no time to write about. All files have been found somewhere in cyberspace (and NONE of them have uploaded by me, so I cannot help you with any requests you might have - just keep returning and something new might pop up), so they will be available until the artists, record labels, fans, whatever decide to remove them. Thanks to a few readers, I've just finished yet another round of cleaning up (actually I'm doing this more or less all the time). But please leave a comment if some of the links are no longer working, and I will do my best to remove them as quickly as possible....

If you are interested in finding even more songs than the ones I have listed below, these links will provide you with lots and lots of free AND legal mp3's - I really hope you'll enjoy the list!!

You can't "deep link" to Matador Records (New Pornographers), so that link doesn't work. But readers can go to this website: Matador Records -New Pornographers.

Fantastic list. Check out MP3 4U too - i've been posting there for years now. there's a lot of good stuff there. the amount of good music we'll never hear far exceeds the amount we will hear, that is, unless we'll live forever, which is unlikely. so, it makes no sense at all to spend a minute listening to crap! thanks for this excellent post.

  81. Great post! I think it is so handy that you have compiled a list of your featured artists, songs, and record labels. It makes it so much more user friendly for people who are new to the site and want to know what it's all about. It's handy to find the things you want and leave out the things you don't. So great job! I absolutely love the variety as well (Fleet Foxes, Sia, Sufjan remix...).

    ReplyDelete
  82. Anonymous7:48 PM

hey...great post of abunch of bands no one's heard of (ok,maybe a few) blogs are the only reason bands like these are getting attention.and why not, after all the 2000's is the lowest record release and money making decade in music history.and with all these crappy indie bands with band names that sound like movie titles or "statements",rather than actual band names, its no wonder the industry sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  83. As i said before, this post is AMAZING! i spent months going through and downloading them all.
