This morning I found an old "compilation" CD, containing a few classic songs:
Ash: Shining Light
Collective Soul: The World I Know
Metallica: Whiskey In The Jar (love this one)

Yesterday I twice had the pleasure of listening to the brilliant album:
Neutral Milk Hotel: In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

The Killers: All These Things That I've Done

Funny how some songs work better as a part of an album than as singles. Recent examples are "Take Me Out" (Franz Ferdinand) and "Somebody Told Me" (The Killers).
Both singles are pretty ordinary in my opinion, but when listening to them as part of an album, they turn out to be great songs!

Still listening a lot to Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day, though the rest of The American Idiot album sure sounds like it deserves a closer "look".

Bought Hot Fuss by The Killers this Saturday, but haven't listened to it so far.

Waiting for the following albums to "arrive":
Manics - Lifeblood
Placebo - Singles
Kasabian
