The Bible - Mahalia...

Just found the song on my computer and simply cannot resist the temptation to post this video of the band performing the song on The Tube (anyone remember that show?). Have the 12" somewhere ... somewhere ... where? ... hmmmm

Great song and great find! I remember The Tube well but don't remember seeing this on it. The Bible were such an underrated band.

I only watched The Tube a couple of times - the show with The Bible was one of them and I rushed down and ordered the 12" the next day - how I miss those days!

Don't have the 12" but I do have the vinyl album "Walking The Ghost Back Home" which includes "Mahalia" and the great opener "Graceland".

Also loved their earlier song "Honey Be Good" - Boo Hewerdine was a fine songwriter. He did some great work with Darden Smith too.
